2026–2027 50th Anniversary Season Productions

For 50 years, Bainbridge Little Theatre has brought stories to life on our stage and brought our community together through live theatre. We’re celebrating this milestone with a special anniversary season filled with music, laughter, holiday tradition, beloved classics, and opportunities for performers of all ages.

Shrek the Musical
Everyone’s favorite ogre takes the stage in this hilarious and heartwarming musical based on the DreamWorks film. Joined by a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess with a secret of her own, Shrek sets out on an unlikely adventure filled with memorable characters, big musical numbers, and plenty of laughs. A fun-filled show about friendship, acceptance, and discovering that being different is something worth celebrating.

A Christmas Carol
A beloved holiday classic comes to life in a special local adaptation created for the Bainbridge Little Theatre stage. Follow Ebenezer Scrooge on his unforgettable Christmas Eve journey as he encounters the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Filled with familiar characters, holiday spirit, and the timeless message that it is never too late to change, this production is a celebration of Christmas, community, and second chances.

Noises Off
What happens when everything that can go wrong onstage—and backstage—does? Noises Off takes audiences behind the scenes of a touring theatre company whose production quickly descends into absolute chaos. With missed cues, slamming doors, backstage feuds, and increasingly disastrous performances, this fast-paced comedy offers a hilarious look at the mayhem behind the curtain.

The Sound of Music
One of the most beloved musicals of all time returns to the stage with the unforgettable story of Maria and the von Trapp family. Set against the backdrop of Austria on the eve of World War II, The Sound of Music is a story of family, courage, and standing up for what matters. Featuring timeless songs including “Do-Re-Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” this classic musical is a fitting centerpiece for our 50th Anniversary Season.

Disney’s The Lion King JR.
The African savanna comes to life in this youth production based on Disney’s beloved animated classic. Young Simba must find the courage to embrace his destiny and take his place as king. Featuring favorite songs like “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” Disney’s The Lion King JR. gives our young performers the chance to take center stage in a colorful, energetic celebration of courage, friendship, and finding your place in the circle of life.
